DJI Agras T25P for Sale in Alberta
Looking for a DJI Agras T25P for sale in Alberta? The T25P is a compact agricultural drone built for operators who want a machine that is easier to move, set up, and use without a large field crew.It can carry up to 20 kg for spraying and 25 kg for spreading. The foldable design also makes it easier to transport between fields, which can be useful for smaller farms, specialty crops, orchards, pasture work, or as a second drone alongside a larger Agras platform.
• True North Agricultural Technology can help with the T25P, batteries, charging equipment, training, parts, and support for Alberta operations.
A Smaller Drone for Hard-to-Reach Alberta Fields
The T25P is a good fit when you need something smaller than a large broadacre spray drone. Its compact, foldable design makes it easier to transport between fields, while its radar and vision systems support obstacle detection and terrain-following operations. DJI positions the T25P for solo operations, mapping, spraying, spreading, and terrain-following work.
Not Every Farm Needs the Biggest Drone
A larger Agras drone gives you more capacity, but that does not automatically make it the right choice.
The T25P is useful for operators who care more about easy transport, smaller workloads, spot applications, and having a drone that one person can manage. DJI describes it as a compact and foldable platform designed for solo operations.
Smaller Acreage & Family Farms
For farms that do not need a 100 L spray platform, the T25P can provide a smaller way to handle selected spray and spreading jobs.
Rather than moving a large setup for every application, you can use the T25P for areas that need attention at the right time.
Specialty & Market-Garden Crops
For potatoes, vegetables, berries, hemp, and other specialty crops, a smaller drone can be useful when the work involves smaller blocks, tighter turns, or areas where ground traffic is a concern.
Orchard & Uneven Foothill Ground
The T25P's radar and vision system can support terrain-following operations on slopes, which can be useful in Alberta foothills, coulees, shelterbelts, and uneven crop areas. DJI lists terrain-following support up to a 50° slope under specified operating conditions.
Secondary Unit in a Larger Fleet
A T25P can also work alongside a T100 or another larger agricultural drone.
The larger drone can handle the main workload while the T25P is used for field edges, smaller areas, wet spots, or jobs that do not justify moving the larger setup.
Compact Does Not Mean You Have to Give Up Capability
The T25P is smaller than DJI's larger Agras platforms, but it still has the main systems needed for agricultural spraying and spreading.
Its foldable design, 20 kg spray payload, 25 kg spreading payload, RTK support, and Safety System 3.0 make it a practical option when mobility matters.
Two Jobs, One Platform
Use the 20 L spraying system for liquid applications or switch to the Spreading System 4.0 for suitable dry granules.
The T25P supports a 20 kg spray payload and a 25 kg spreading load.
Foldable and Easier to Move
The T25P weighs 26 kg without the battery and 33 kg with the battery in DJI's current specifications. Its arms and propellers fold down to make transport easier.
It is designed around solo operation, so you do not need to build a large crew around the aircraft just to get it into the field.
Better Awareness on Uneven Ground
Safety System 3.0 combines front and rear millimetre-wave radar with a tri-camera vision system.
DJI lists terrain-following capability on slopes up to 50° under its specified conditions. Actual performance depends on terrain, visibility, weather, and the operating environment.
Understand the Transport Canada Category
The T25P has a maximum takeoff weight of 53 kg for spraying and 60 kg for spreading, which puts it in Canada's medium-drone category because it is over 25 kg but not more than 150 kg. Medium-drone operations are part of the Advanced Operations framework when the applicable conditions are met.
An SFOC is not automatically required just because you are flying a T25P. Special requirements can still apply depending on the operation.
FIELD TRANSPORT & SETUP
Easy to Move From One Field to Another
The T25P's foldable design makes it easier to transport than a much larger agricultural drone. The aircraft itself weighs 26 kg without the battery, while the folded dimensions are approximately 1120 × 700 × 850 mm.That makes it a practical option for operators who want to move the drone with a pickup or smaller field setup instead of building everything around a large trailer.

DJI Agras T25P Specifications
Here are the main T25P numbers to look at before choosing the drone for your farm.
What Alberta T25P Operators Need to Know
There are two separate things to check when you plan to use the T25P for agricultural spraying:-
-Transport Canada covers the aircraft and flight operation.
-Alberta and federal pesticide authorities cover the pesticide side of the work.
Transport Canada Pilot Certificate
The T25P's maximum takeoff weight is within the 25–150 kg medium-drone range. Transport Canada states that medium-drone operations are Advanced Operations or higher, and pilots need the appropriate certificate and aircraft requirements for the operation.
For an Advanced certificate, pilots need to pass the Advanced exam and complete an Advanced flight review.
Not automatically.
A T25P does not need an SFOC simply because it weighs more than 25 kg. An SFOC is used for operations that go beyond the normal Basic, Advanced, or Level 1 Complex rules.
Alberta Pesticide Requirements
Health Canada's June 2026 policy allows RPAS application of pesticides already registered for conventional aerial application, provided the product label permits aerial use and all label directions are followed.
If the label does not allow aerial application, the product cannot simply be treated as approved for drone spraying.
A Useful Companion to a Larger Agricultural Drone
The T25P does not have to be your only drone.
A larger T100 can handle higher-volume work, while a T25P can be kept ready for smaller jobs that do not justify moving the larger setup.
Companion Drone Deployment
Use the T25P for jobs such as:
- : Field-edge cleanup
- : Shelterbelt edges
- : Small wet areas
- : Slough boundaries
- : Smaller crop blocks
- : Cover-crop spreading in selected areas
Dedicated T25P Hardware
The T25P uses its own spray tank, nozzles, spreading system, and DB800 battery.
Do not assume that T25P spray or spreading components will interchange with T50 or T100 equipment. Check compatibility before ordering parts or accessories.
- Familiar DJI Workflow: Operators already familiar with DJI Agras aircraft will find many of the flight-planning and mission-management concepts familiar, while the T25P uses its own hardware and battery system.
