Terms of Service

These terms apply to every purchase from True North Agricultural Technology ("True North Ag", "we") through truenorthag.tech, by phone or by email. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older. Aircraft, payload systems and batteries are commercial equipment sold to businesses and operators, not consumer goods.

2. Prices and orders

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude GST/HST, provincial sales tax and freight unless stated. Tax is charged where we are required to collect it.
  • An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order for a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, stock shortage or export-control reasons, and will refund any amount paid.
  • Combo packages contain exactly the components listed in that product's bill of materials. Nothing else is included.

3. Payment

Payment is due in full at checkout unless we have agreed dealer or financing terms in writing. Payment instructions for invoiced orders are on the invoice.

4. Shipping, returns and warranty

See the Shipping Policy and Refund and Return Policy. DJI products carry the DJI manufacturer warranty; True North Ag handles warranty intake for equipment bought from us.

5. Your responsibilities as an operator

  • You are responsible for complying with Transport Canada's RPAS rules under the Canadian Aviation Regulations, including pilot certification, aircraft registration and any Special Flight Operations Certificate your operation requires, and with Health Canada (PMRA) pesticide label directions and provincial applicator licensing for aerial application.
  • True North Ag provides information and training support but does not issue certificates or approvals and does not guarantee approval timelines.
  • Follow DJI's operating manuals and safety guidance. You are responsible for safe operation, chemical handling and applicable environmental rules.

6. Export control

Products are sold for use in Canada. You may not export, re-export or transfer products outside Canada, or to any restricted party, without complying with Canadian export laws.

7. Product information

Specifications are the manufacturer's published figures under stated test conditions. Coverage rates, acres per hour and economics depend on crop, terrain, weather, product and operator, and are estimates, not guarantees.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, True North Ag is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost crops, lost profit or downtime. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
